Terms and Conditions

 

Our property has a policy of No Smoking and No Pets. If you are found to be in violation of either of these, you will be assessed a $200 fee.

 

Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.

 

Our lobby hours are 8am to 8pm seven days a week. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be arriving after our lobby is closed. Arrangements will be made to process your check in before your arrival and your code will be left for you.

 

Free parking and complimentary breakfast are available to all our overnight guests.

 

No hourly rates available.

 

Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $20 and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.

 

We reserve the right to charge for any damages to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning.

 

Damaged or missing items from rooms post check out will be charged to your card on file. These include but are not limited to remote controls, bathrobes, linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc., Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.

Cancellation Policy

 

100% refund when cancellation is within 48 hours of booking reservation. The Lodge at Kimiwan will charge one night’s room and taxes to the credit card on file at the booked rate for any reservations that fail to check-in to the Lodge on the scheduled arrival date, and have not been cancelled/changed by the guest at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date. If you can provide a cancellation number issued by the Lodge or website booking, we will reverse the charges.
Payment is due in full upon booking your reservation.

Payment Policies

 

Credit Card Payment

The Lodge at Kimiwan accepts MasterCard, Visa and Visa Debit. At time of booking, a $50.00 (fifty dollar) deposit is required that will be applied to your total reservation amount. Payment is due in full upon booking your reservation.For security purposes you will be asked to provide a valid government issued photo ID. The credit card holder as named on the card must be present at the time of check-in; the use of a card in someone else’s name will not be accepted without a completed Credit Card Authorization Form.

 

Third Party Credit Card Payment

If you wish to have your credit card charged for a guests stay with The Lodge at Kimiwan, and the physical credit card will not be with the guest upon check-in; The Lodge at Kimiwan requires a “Credit Card Authorization Form” to be filled out and emailed, texted or dropped off at the hotel prior to the guests arrival. This form must be obtained from The Lodge at Kimiwan directly. Please call us at, 1-855-KIMIWAN (1-855-546-4926) and we can email or text you this form. In order for the third party, credit card billing to be completed, The Lodge at Kimiwan must have the completed Credit Card Authorization Form, and a photocopy of the front a back of the physical credit card. The Lodge at Kimiwan reserves the right to require an imprint of the physical credit card and the cardholder’s signature if requested by the hotel management. [Note: Hotel guests utilizing the room must be at least 18 years of age.]

 

Cash/Travellers Cheque Payment

Effective April 1st, 2023, The Lodge at Kimiwan requires a valid credit card of the person occupying the guest room for the duration of the hotel stay. Cash/Travellers Cheque can be utilized to pay for guest room and hotel fees at time of check-out, however, a valid credit card IS REQUIRED at time of check-in for the person occupying the guest room. A pre-authorization will be put on the credit card for the total room and taxes, plus a deposit amount (this is not a charge, only a pre-authorization). The Lodge at Kimiwan WILL NOT accept guests without the presentation of a valid credit card at check-in unless advance arrangements have been made directly with hotel management or a valid credit card authorization as per Third Party Credit Arrangement has been fulfilled.

 

Personal/Company Cheque

The Lodge at Kimiwan does not accept personal cheques for payment of a guest room. The Lodge at Kimiwan will accept a company cheque for payment upon departure from the hotel. The Lodge at Kimiwan reserves the right to ask for a credit card number, and/or photo I.D. when accepting a cheque for payment. Any cheques returned as Non-Sufficient Funds are subject to a fee of $30.00.
